MEET OUR FOUNDER & CEO-EDITH MESA

Hi Guys! I’m Edith, the Head Stylist. I started my journey in 2017 as a solo artist and from there I have expanded to now having a team of 10 girls with 6 stylists and 4 assistants. I have been featured in magazines like Beauty Launch Pad:30 Under 30 and also Under Hidden Rainbows. My inspiration stems from mentors like David, @Destroythehairdresser, The Butterfly Circus which was a group of stylists featuring Larisa Love, @Larisadoll, who is my idol and people like you. EdithLex’s goal as a company is to be able to provide you with your dream color or style without compromising the integrity of your hair. We also have a hair product line that consists of a natural hair mask jojoba oil and biotin infused shampoo. The main goal for this company as a whole is to be able to go worldwide with products and techniques, enhancing everyone’s beauty no matter the texture of their hair.

Being a hairstylist for over a decade has been so exciting and fun. The ability to style my hair, whenever I want, however I want, screams luxury! Growing up in the Dominican Republic and then moving to NYC showed me that luxury lies in how you care for yourself and how you present yourself. I've been inspired from a young age to try as many colors and styles as humanely possible. but unfortunately, my hair and I have gone through many phases. It reached a state of health I wasn't proud of. One where other product didn’t work at all. I was battling for so many years searching for the "IT" product that would tackle all of my concerns. That was when I decided to make a product line. And that effort and strive to get it right, IS what sets us apart from all else. We never say no.
